Nothing Phone (2a) has been officially introduced and offers most of the features of Nothing Phone (2) at a lower price. Nothing states that it promises an optimal experience for daily use with its expertise in engineering and craftsmanship.

Using Nothing’s first interior design concept created in 2020, a few months after Nothing’s establishment, Phone (2a) draws attention in terms of design. The most important feature of the design is the dual camera system built into the NFC coil and the aesthetic that Nothing calls ‘eyes’. The back panel of the phone bends at a 90-degree angle at the edges to make it more resistant to drops. The rear panel is available in Black, White and ‘Milk’ color options.

Highlights of Nothing Phone (2a)

Nothing Phone (2a), which we have been seeing leaks for a while, uses the Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset developed in collaboration with MediaTek. The SoC is built on TSMC’s latest 4nm process and the processor can be clocked up to 2.8GHz. The phone offers a 6.78-inch 10-bit AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1084 × 2412 pixels, 1,300 nits peak brightness and a variable 30-120Hz refresh rate. The phone, which runs Nothing OS 2.5 on top of Android 14, comes with the promise of 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates.

Phone (2a), which has a dual 50MP system on the back and the same 32MP f / 2.2 selfie camera as the Nothing Phone (2), includes 50MP f / 1.88 wide angle with OIS and fixed focus 50MP f / 2.2 ultra wide angle cameras as the main cameras. The phone draws attention with its 5,000mAh capacity battery, which is the largest battery among its competitors. The battery, which can be charged up to 45W, can reach 50% capacity in 23 minutes and full capacity in 59 minutes. Nothing states that the battery will retain 90% of its capacity after 1,000 charging cycles, or more than three years of daily use.

Nothing Phone (2a) is available for pre-order abroad on nothing.tech as of today, and shipments will begin on March 12.
