New processor for mid-segment phones from MediaTek: Dimensity 6300 introduced

MediaTek announced its new mid-segment chipset called Dimensity 6300. In Dimensity 6300, which is the follower of Dimensity 6100+ released last year, Cortex-A76 operating at 2.4 GHz frequency serves as the main core. Two 2 GHz Cortex-A76s and five 2 GHz Cortex-A55s complete the system.

Produced with TSMC's 6 nm process, Dimensity 6300 has Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. MediaTek points out that its new chip has a 10 percent higher CPU performance compared to the Dimensity 6100+.

MediaTek's UltraSave 3.0+ technology also welcomes users on the Dimensity 6300. This technology enables more efficient work. The integrated 5G modem, compatible with the 3GPP Release 16 standard, is also part of the Dimensity 6300.

In which phone will MediaTek Dimensity 6300 be used first?

Offering support for LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, Dimensity 6300 supports screens with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels. On the camera side, the maximum resolution support is 108 megapixels. Bluetooth 5.2 support is also written on the processor's ID card.

Dimensity 6300 is expected to first appear on the Realme C65 5G, which is expected to become official this month.
