New Nothing Phone 2a Plus introduced: Advanced performance and stylish design at an affordable price

Nothing has recently introduced the Phone 2a Plus, following the launch of the Phone 2a. This new model offers some performance improvements and a sleeker design, while still having a price tag under $400 abroad.

The Phone 2a Plus, while the word “Plus” in the smartphone world usually means a larger screen, the situation is different here. This model has the same dimensions as its predecessor, the Phone 2a, with a 6.7-inch OLED screen. In addition, the striking Glyph Interface on the back and the 5000mAh battery capacity have been preserved. NFC support also continues to be included in this model.

Nothing Phone 2A Plus gets new processor and performance boost

The most striking feature of the Phone 2a Plus is the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G processor, which is used exclusively by Nothing. According to the company’s statements, this new processor is about 10 percent faster than the processor used in the Phone 2a, and its graphics processor (GPU) offers 30 percent higher performance. This development significantly improves the overall usage performance of the device and the gaming experience.

Having proven with the Phone 2a that a budget-friendly phone can have a stylish design, Nothing continues this approach with the Phone 2a Plus model. The new model offers two new metallic color options, updated black and new gray. This gray color simulates the look of raw metal and gives the device a more sophisticated air.

The front camera on the Phone 2a Plus has been upgraded from 32MP to 50MP. Nothing says that this new camera highlights details like eyes and facial hair more clearly thanks to an improved portrait algorithm. The device’s maximum wired charging speed has also been increased from 45W to 50W, but there’s still no wireless charging support.

The new model will be available for £399 in the UK and $399 in the US. The Phone 2a Plus, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is £50 more expensive than the 12GB version of the Phone 2a. However, Nothing will continue to keep both models on the market. We expect the new model to go on sale in Turkey as well.

The Phone 2a Plus will be available for purchase at London’s Soho store on August 3, with US sales starting on August 7. However, US sales will be through Nothing’s beta program, and the device will be available with limited support on US mobile networks.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus stands out with its performance improvements and aesthetic updates. It seems to attract the attention of technology enthusiasts with its affordable price policy. With the launch of this new model, Nothing continues to gain a strong position in the budget-friendly segment.
