New details emerged about Honor Win 2 with 10,000 mAh battery

New information has emerged about the Win 2 model that Honor is said to be working on. The technical specifications of the device, which was previously brought to the agenda with two different leaks, were once again shared by the Chinese source Digital Chat Station. While the latest information indicates that Honor is preparing a high-performance-oriented product, it also shows that a new compact tablet may be in development along with the Honor Win 2.

According to the shared information, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 platform will be used in Honor Win 2. However, there is no clear information about whether the processor in the leak is the standard version or the Pro version. On the energy side of the device, it is stated that there will be a large battery with a capacity of 10,000 mAh. In addition, it is stated that wireless charging support will also be offered. This capacity seems remarkable for users looking for long battery life, especially in gaming and intensive usage scenarios.

On the screen side, it is stated that Honor Win 2 will come with a flat panel. It is reported that the screen in question will offer 2K resolution and have a very high refresh rate. In addition, the ultrasonic fingerprint reader is expected to be integrated directly into the screen. Ultrasonic sensors stand out by offering faster and more reliable authentication compared to optical solutions.

On the camera side of the device, it is said that there will be a rear camera system with a telephoto lens. In addition, features such as high-level water and dust resistance certification, dual stereo speaker system, large-sized vibration motor and internal fan for active cooling are also mentioned. In particular, the fan cooling system can help keep the temperature of the processor under control during long-term gaming sessions that require high performance.

Honor Win Pad Mini may focus on compact tablet segment

Another striking part of the leak was the claim that Honor was working on a new tablet. According to Digital Chat Station, the company is developing a model called Win Pad Mini that could be introduced alongside Win 2. It is stated that the tablet will come with an OLED screen of approximately 8 inches in size. It is also among the information conveyed that the screen will have a high refresh rate and will be supported by thin frames.

On the processor side, it is stated that the device will be powered by a “flagship level” Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, the statement used in the source does not provide certainty as to whether this is the Snapdragon 8 Elite introduced in 2024 or a newer generation Snapdragon 8 Elite variant. Therefore, it seems too early to evaluate the performance level of the tablet.

The compact Android tablet segment has started to gain momentum again in recent years. Following models such as Lenovo Legion Tab and RedMagic Gaming Tablet, manufacturers are turning to tablet options with smaller screens but high performance. It is thought that if Honor enters this field with Win Pad Mini, it can target users who especially care about gaming and portable multimedia experience.

Honor has not yet made an official statement about Win 2 or Win Pad Mini. Despite this, recent leaks show that both products have reached a certain stage in the development process. New information that may emerge in the coming weeks may provide a clearer picture about the technical specifications of the devices and the possible launch schedule.
