New details about the Honor Magic 9 series have emerged

New information has emerged about the Magic 9 series, which is expected to be Honor’s new generation flagship model. According to the latest claim from Chinese sources, the company will include higher capacity batteries in all Honor Magic 9 models it will introduce this year compared to its predecessors. According to the information shared by Smart Pikachu, known for its leaks, all three models in the series will come with 8000 mAh capacity batteries. In the Magic 8 family introduced last year, the standard model had 7000 mAh batteries and the Magic 8 Pro RSR version had 7200 mAh batteries.

This claim is not actually the first time it has been brought up. In another leak that appeared in March, it was stated that the standard Honor Magic 9 model would carry an 8000 mAh battery. With the latest information, it is said that Honor is preparing to renew not only the basic model but also the entire series with higher battery capacity. While smartphone manufacturers have recently turned to silicon-carbon battery technologies, it has become possible to include larger batteries in thinner bodies, and it is considered that Honor is following a similar approach.

In addition, some updates are expected not only in battery capacity but also in the screen and camera side. According to the leak, 1.5K resolution OLED displays will be used in the entire Honor Magic 9 series. Honor has recently attracted attention with its improvements in screen brightness and eye comfort. Features such as high refresh rate, advanced PWM dimming and more efficient energy consumption are expected to be preserved in the new series. Despite this, it is not yet clear how the company will differentiate in screen sizes.

200 MP camera expectation stands out in the Honor Magic 9 series

On the camera side, it is claimed that 200 megapixel main sensors will be used in all models of the series. In addition, it is stated that advanced image stabilization technologies and ARRI supported video features will also be included in the devices. In previous Magic models, Honor stood out with camera software that focused especially on portrait and low-light performance. It is expected that the developments on the video side will be more prominent in the new series. However, there is no concrete information yet about the size of the sensors used, telephoto camera details or technical features on the processor side.

On the other hand, considering that Honor introduced the last two Magic flagship series in October, it seems likely that the Magic 9 family will be announced with a similar schedule. Since there are still a few months until the launch, new technical details and different leaks are expected to emerge in the coming period. Especially with Qualcomm’s new generation Snapdragon platform, what approach Honor will follow on the performance and artificial intelligence side is among the topics that are already wondered.

Although the available information does not yet carry official confirmation, the emerging leaks show that Honor is trying to make battery life one of the strongest aspects of the new series. Batteries reaching 8000 mAh can significantly increase daily usage time. In addition, it seems that details such as weight, thickness and charging speeds of the devices will continue to be decisive on the user experience.
