New claim for the launch date of Xiaomi 15 and Honor Magic 7 series

October marks a busy period in terms of smartphone announcements. It was previously announced that Vivo X200 flagships will be introduced on October 14. Now, according to a reliable source, Xiaomi and Honor’s flagships will also become official in a few weeks. It was reported that the Xiaomi 15 series will be introduced on October 20 and the Honor Magic 7 series will be introduced on October 30.

All these phones launching this month have one thing in common: They are all expected to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Dimensity 9400 chipsets. Qualcomm and Mediatek will introduce their flagship SoCs (system chips) in the coming days, and smartphone manufacturers are preparing to announce their own devices immediately after these introductions.

There’s extra motivation for Chinese manufacturers to launch their phones in October. Because they are preparing for Singles’ Day, which will take place on November 11 in the country and is considered one of the biggest shopping festivals in the world. Ahead of this major shopping event, launching new devices is seen as a strategic move to attract consumers’ attention and increase sales.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra will come with a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera

Apart from the update in chipsets, Vivo is expected to add a new X200 Pro mini model to the series. Xiaomi plans to install a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera in the 15 Ultra model. In November, Oppo is preparing to introduce three different flagship models – standard, Pro and Ultra – for the first time in the history of the Find X series.
