Motorola launched the Moto S50 Neo in June and as promised, today it introduced the Moto S50. The Moto S50 is powered by the Dimensity 7300 processor and comes with Android 14 operating system. The device has 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.36-inch LTPO pOLED display with a resolution of 2,670×1,272 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. This display, which supports HDR10+, reaches a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. There is also a hole in the middle of the screen for a 32MP selfie camera, and an under-display fingerprint reader is used for biometric authentication.
On the back of the device, there is a triple camera system. This system consists of a 50 MP main camera (Sony IMX896, OIS), a 13 MP ultra-wide camera (123° viewing angle) and a 10 MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom, OIS).
Motorola Moto S50 comes in three different colors
The Moto S50 comes with a 4310mAh battery and supports 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The device also has an IP68 certification. The reason the Motorola Moto S50 looks familiar is that it is a Chinese-specific version of the recently announced Motorola Edge 50 Neo. While the Moto S50 is offered exclusively in China, the Edge 50 Neo is positioned as a model for international markets.
The Motorola Moto S50 is available in three Pantone-approved colors and is available with two memory options: 12GB RAM/256GB storage for CNY 2,199 (TL 10,536), while the 12GB RAM/512GB storage option is priced at CNY 2,499 (TL 11,974).
