In addition to the new foldable Razr models, Motorola also made official the Moto G87 model, which was previously on the agenda with leaks. Positioned in the middle segment, this device stands out by offering the highest resolution sensor of the series so far, especially on the main camera side. With this model, the company aims to take the camera capabilities of the G series to a further level.

The most prominent feature of Moto G87 is its main camera with 200 megapixel resolution. This sensor, which supports optical image stabilization (OIS), also provides lossless 2x zoom. In addition, the device includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. While this setup provides flexibility in different shooting scenarios, the high-resolution main sensor offers an advantage in capturing detail.

On the performance side of the device, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. While this chipset aims to balance daily use and multitasking performance, it is supported by up to 12 GB RAM option. In addition, Moto G87 comes with a 6.78-inch screen called “Extreme AMOLED”. Offering 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 5000 nits peak brightness, the screen aims to provide sufficient visibility for outdoor use. Protecting the screen with Gorilla Glass 7i provides additional assurance of durability.

Moto G87 draws attention not only with its hardware but also with its durability certificates. The device, which has IP66, IP68 and IP69 certifications, offers comprehensive protection against water and dust. However, the model, which meets the MIL-STD-810H standard, claims to be resistant to drops up to 1.2 meters. These features represent a practical advantage for users who use their phones, especially in challenging conditions.

For the Moto G87, which offers a dual speaker system on the audio side, Motorola promises a 280 percent more powerful sound experience compared to the previous model. This type of improvement can make a difference in terms of multimedia consumption and gaming experience. In addition, the device has a 5200 mAh capacity battery and 30W wired charging support is offered. This capacity targets a battery performance that can last a day in heavy use.

Coming with Android 16 on the software side, Moto G87 also brings the advantage of the updated operating system. On the other hand, it is stated that the device will be available in European, Middle Eastern, African and Latin American markets in the coming weeks. Price information has not been shared yet, although it is stated that it may be sold under the name Moto G Max in some markets.
