Motorola Edge 50 Ultra becomes official: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 64-megapixel telephoto camera

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra was introduced to users after the Edge 50 Pro and Fusion models. Edge 50 Ultra stands out by offering a wood veneer option as well as artificial leather for the back panel.

It can be said that the Edge 50 Ultra is a slightly more advanced version of the recently introduced Edge 50 Pro. The smartphone has a better processor and a more powerful camera system compared to the Edge 50 Pro.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor at the heart of the Edge 50 Pro is replaced by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the Edge 50 Ultra. Users are offered two memory options: 12 and 16 GB. It is also possible to increase the RAM capacity virtually. Storage options are listed as 512 GB and 1 TB UFS 4.0.

In Edge 50 Pro, the main camera function is a 50-megapixel sensor. This sensor has versatile autofocus and optical image stabilization features. In the 3x periscope camera, a 64 megapixel resolution sensor was preferred. The rear camera system is completed by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. This camera also offers autofocus feature for macro shots. All three cameras benefit from laser autofocus technology, and three-in-one sensor technology also helps with exposure and automatic white balance.

There is also a 50 megapixel camera on the front of the Edge 50 Ultra. 4K 60 fps video recording can be done with the phone's three rear cameras. Both the rear and front cameras can record 1080p video in slow motion mode.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra comes with a 6.7-inch P-OLED screen. This screen, with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, offers a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels. HDR10+ support is also available on the screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9.
