Microsoft introduced its renewed Xbox Wireless Headset: Better microphone and longer battery life

Microsoft has renewed its Xbox Wireless Headset and announced a new model that offers a more advanced microphone and increased battery life. This renewed headset provides Dolby Atmos support at no additional cost and offers a faster and more stable connection with Bluetooth 5.3 technology.

In terms of design, as on the previous model, the rotary adjustment buttons on the headset make it possible to adjust the volume and game/chat balance. However, with a small change made to the exterior, the green accents were removed and an all-black design was preferred.

One of the most important improvements in the renewed headset is the advanced microphone system with automatic mute and sound isolation features. In this way, users are provided with a clearer sound experience by minimizing background noise. In addition, while this headset can be directly connected to Xbox consoles, it can also be easily paired with mobile devices and computers thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 support.

While the previous Xbox Wireless Headset model could be used for up to 15 hours on a single charge, the battery life in this renewed model has been increased to 20 hours. This marks the second official wireless headset that Microsoft has released since the Xbox 360 era. The first Xbox Wireless Headset was released in March 2021.

Microsoft increased the price of the renewed Xbox Wireless Headset

In terms of price, Microsoft has made a small increase for this new version. While the first model was offered for sale at $99, this renewed model is on sale for $109.99 as of today.
