While the competition in the mobile processor market continued without slowing down, MediaTek’s new generation flagship chipset Dimensity 9400+was announced. The Digital Chat Station (DCS) in January claimed that this chip will be announced in March. However, according to newly incoming information, MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ will formally appear on April 11th.
Although the introduction date of the chip is clear, the Dimensity 9400+is not yet finalized which smartphone model will use. In previous leaks, it was claimed that the iQoo Neo11 Pro would be the first phone with this processor. However, so far, IQOO or MediaTek has not received an official verification. Nevertheless, the new generation Dimensity series is expected to be preferred by the flagship phone manufacturers.
MediaTek has not yet shared official technical details about Dimensity 9400+. However, according to rumors circulating in the industry, one of the most striking features of the chip will be the advanced Cortex-X925 core. The standard Dimensity 9400, which works at a speed of 3.62 GHz, will be able to rise up to 3.7 GHz in the Dimensity 9400+ version. This speed increase, especially high -performance mobile games, multiple tasks use and artificial intelligence operations can offer a more fluent experience.
In the mobile processor market, MediaTek compete with Qualcomm’s strong competitors such as Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and aims to provide higher performance and efficiency to its users by continuously improving the Dimensity series.
