LG’s 480Hz OLED monitor UltraGear 27GX790A is on sale abroad

LG launched the UltraGear 27GX790A model, which it introduced at CES 2024 in January, for sale in the US market. This 27-inch OLED gaming monitor stands out with its 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and 0.03 ms response time. Its most striking feature is that it offers a 480Hz refresh rate; This makes it one of the fastest monitors on the market.

UltraGear 27GX790A delivers deep blacks and rich colors with a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and 98.5% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. Thanks to its VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, it provides superior performance in HDR content. Anti-Glare and Low Reflection coating ensures clear images even in bright environments.

The monitor has various ports such as HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, USB 3.0 and headphone jack. It also comes with a slim, height-adjustable stand that can tilt up to 15 degrees and swivel up to 30 degrees.

LG UltraGear 27GX790A price

There is no official information yet about when the UltraGear 27GX790A, which is offered for sale in the USA with a price tag of $999.99, will enter the Turkish market and its pricing.

UltraGear 27GX790A, which has similar features to the $1,100 InZone M10S model released by Sony in September, attracts attention with its more affordable price. However, it lags behind Sony’s model in some performance modes and variable refresh rate features.

LG UltraGear 27GX790A promises a high-end experience to gamers with its high refresh rate and OLED technology. Game enthusiasts in Turkey are eagerly waiting for this monitor to enter the local market and its pricing.
