Lenovo's laptops with two Qualcomm processors are coming in the summer

Lenovo announced that it has added two new Qualcomm processor laptops to its portfolio: A new Yoga Slim and a new ThinkPad model are coming. These devices aim to offer high performance and portability to their users. Designed especially for creative professionals and the business world, these models are equipped to meet different needs.

Yoga Slim 7x 14 Gen 9 features

The new Yoga Slim 7x 14 Gen 9 is designed especially for users interested in creativity. This model comes with the Snapdragon X Elite processor, up to 32GB of memory and 1TB M.2 SSD storage capacity. Additionally, it offers three USB-C ports, Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 support.

Yoga Slim 7x 14 Gen 9 draws attention with its 14.5 inch OLED touch screen. This display offers high resolution and vibrant colors, providing an ideal environment for creative projects. The device weighs 2.8 pounds and is 0.51 inches thick, providing a great advantage in portability.

Lenovo claims that the Yoga Slim's battery life will last several days, which is competitive with the MacBook Pro. Additionally, 1080p IR webcam and Windows Hello support increase users' security. These features make the device ideal for both business and personal use.

Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 features

ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 stands out as a model for the business world. This device is also equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite processor and up to 64GB of memory capacity. 14-inch screen options include IPS, IPS touch and OLED screen that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 offers extensive connectivity options with two USB-A, two USB4 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1 port and an audio jack. Additionally, it is equipped with security features such as fingerprint reader. This device weighs 2.71 pounds and is 0.67 inches thick, offering multi-day battery life.

This isn't the first time Lenovo has released Windows laptops with Qualcomm processors. Yoga 5G, released in 2019, and ThinkPad X13s, released in 2022, were equipped with Snapdragon processors. However, these devices faced some challenges in terms of software compatibility and performance.

Lenovo stated that the Yoga Slim 7x 14 Gen 9 model will be available at prices starting from $ 1,199 and the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 model will be available at prices starting from $ 1,699. Both models will be on the market in June. These prices seem competitive considering the features and performance offered.

Lenovo's new Yoga Slim and ThinkPad models attract attention with their powerful Qualcomm processors and advanced features. Designed for creative professionals and business users, these devices offer high performance, long battery life and portability. These new models from Lenovo are seen as an important step to meet user expectations and increase competition in the industry.
