Apple introduced iPhone Pocket, the result of a collaboration with Japanese design brand ISSEY MIYAKE. Inspired by the concept of “a piece of fabric”, this new accessory can adapt to any iPhone model with its one-piece structure produced with 3D knitting technology. It will be available starting November 14, 2025, in select Apple Stores in France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK and the US, and on apple.com.
iPhone Pocket draws attention with its ribbed open structure that evokes ISSEY MIYAKE’s original pleated fabric aesthetic. This design, which completely surrounds the iPhone, can also carry daily use items thanks to its stretchable texture. The semi-transparent structure of the fabric allows the iPhone screen to be vaguely visible. The product can be carried by hand, tied to bags or worn directly on the body. The short-strapped model is offered in eight different colors (lemon, tangerine, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon and black), while the long-strapped model is offered in three colors (sapphire, cinnamon and black).

ISSEY MIYAKE Design Director Yoshiyuki Miyamae states that the design of the iPhone Pocket “reflects the bond between the iPhone and its user” and that it was developed in accordance with the universal design language of Apple products. Apple Vice President of Industrial Design Molly Anderson states that the two brands share their approach focusing on “handcraftsmanship, simplicity and elegance”. Anderson emphasizes that the color palette has been prepared to be compatible with all iPhone models and that users can freely reflect their own style.
Produced in Japan, iPhone Pocket emerged as a result of the 3D knitting technology that ISSEY MIYAKE has been working on for a long time. Reflecting the brand’s “one piece of fabric” philosophy, this structure combines everyday functionality with fashion design. The development process of the product was carried out with the contributions of Apple Design Studio in design and production.
iPhone Pocket will be produced in limited numbers. The short-strap version is priced at $149.95, while the long-strap model is priced at $229.95. Product; It will also be available in select Apple stores in Tokyo, Paris, New York, London, Milan, Shanghai, Seoul, Singapore, Taipei and Hong Kong. Apple states that store employees will support customers to try different color and length combinations to find the option that best suits their personal style.
