Infinix officially announced the Hot 70 model after a while of teasers and leaks. The company initially only introduced the standard Hot 70 version. Despite this, the device also gives some clues about the Hot 70 Pro and other upper segment variants that are expected to arrive in the future. The new model draws attention especially with its rear surface design and high-capacity battery. In addition, the slim body structure and high refresh rate screen are among the prominent details of the device.
The most striking aspect of Hot 70 was the special color option called “Thermo Orange”. In this version, where Infinix uses thermo paint technology, the back surface of the device changes color according to temperature. The surface, which has a darker orange tone when cold, turns into a brighter orange when the device warms up. The company calls these two shades “Tranquil Orange” and “Vibrant Orange,” respectively. In addition, different color options such as Green Texture, Calm Purple, Deep Blue, Silver Dancer and Night Pulse are also offered.
On the design side of the device, not only color options but also physical dimensions stand out. Infinix Hot 70 weighs approximately 195 grams and has a 7.49 mm thick body. This thinness seems remarkable, especially for a model carrying a 6000 mAh battery. Despite this, choosing a plastic frame and IPS LCD panel can be considered as an approach to maintain cost control.
Infinix Hot 70 model comes with a 120 Hz screen and Helio G100 Ultimate processor
On the hardware side, MediaTek’s Helio G100 Ultimate processor is at the center of the device. The same chipset was previously used in the Infinix Note 50 Pro and Note 50 Pro+ models. The processor, which is expected to provide a sufficient structure in terms of daily use and mid-level gaming performance, is supported by different memory options. Infinix; It prepared four different configurations: 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
On the front, there is a 6.78 inch IPS LCD screen. The panel offers a resolution of 720 x 1576 pixels and supports a 120 Hz refresh rate. Keeping the resolution at HD+ level may be limiting for some users in terms of image sharpness. Despite this, the high refresh rate contributes to the smoothness of daily use. A more fluid experience is aimed, especially in social media applications and interface transitions.
On the battery capacity side, Hot 70 looks quite assertive. The device has a 6000 mAh battery. The combination of a large battery capacity with an HD + resolution screen can provide advantages in terms of long usage times. The company states that the device has 45W wired fast charging support. In addition, 10W reverse charging support is also offered. Thus, Hot 70 can be used as a portable power source to charge other devices when necessary.

On the camera side, there is a main camera at the back with a resolution of 50 megapixels and an aperture of f / 1.9. This sensor is accompanied by an auxiliary second lens. However, the company has not disclosed the exact function of this second camera. It seems possible that the auxiliary sensor will be used for depth sensing purposes. On the front, there is a selfie camera with 8 megapixel resolution and f / 2.0 aperture.
On the software side, the device comes out of the box with the Android 16 operating system. The company’s XOS 16 software is used as the interface. In addition, the device also includes a physical shortcut key. Users can make special assignments to this key for different applications or certain functions. It is not very common for a model in the entry segment to offer physical customizable buttons.
Infinix has not yet shared official details about other models of the Hot 70 series. Despite this, the equipment and design approach offered by the standard model show that the similar line will be maintained in the continuation of the series. Especially its battery capacity, slim body structure and striking rear surface design take the device to a different point between the entry and middle segment.
