Huawei’s triple foldable phone spotted once again

Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu was recently seen using the company’s upcoming triple foldable phone. The image provided a glimpse into the device’s large foldable display. Now, Richard Yu has been spotted using the phone in a folded state.

It’s worth noting that the device is thicker than other foldable phones due to the triple foldable design, but it doesn’t look overly bulky. The thickness is expected to be around 5mm when the phone is open and 15mm when folded. The rear camera uses a circular, curved module that resembles the design of the Mate 50 series, and appears to be surrounded by Parisian protrusions.

Previous leaks have shown the phone to feature an inward-folding, outward-folding, and dual-hinged design. The display is expected to be around 10 inches, with a centrally placed camera hole on the far left. The device will reportedly be powered by a Kirin 9-series processor, and will likely be announced before the Mate 70 series is set to be unveiled in the fourth quarter of the year.

Famous tipster Digital Chat Station also claimed that Huawei will hold a big event in China in September and introduce this phone. The company may also reveal the Nova 13 series and the Watch GT 5 smartwatch at this event.

What name will Huawei present its new foldable phone under?

There has been no information leaked yet about what name Huawei will launch its new foldable phone under. However, it would not be a surprise to come across information on this subject as September approaches.
