Huawei continues to share its new products before the global launch event of the Pura 90 series to be held next week. The company confirmed that it will introduce the new generation MatePad Air tablet and FreeClip 2 S wireless headset to users at the event, as well as the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max models.
Shared promotional images show that the new MatePad Air will come in three different color options: pink, white and blue. While there is a pill-shaped camera module on the back of the tablet, it also appears that Huawei has retained the pen support and will offer a keyboard protective case for the device. However, the company has not yet shared details about the technical specifications. For this reason, it remains unclear for now what hardware or software innovations the new model will bring compared to the MatePad Air (2025) introduced this year.
Huawei FreeClip 2 S comes as an updated version of the existing model
Another product that will be introduced at the event will be the FreeClip 2 S wireless headset. In fact, this model is the global market version of the version that Huawei had previously announced in the Chinese market under the name FreeClip 2 Collector’s Edition.
The most striking innovation of FreeClip 2 S stands out as the renewed dome-shaped charging box design and new color options compared to the previous model. However, there is no change in the technical features of the headset. Therefore, audio performance, battery life and other basic hardware features remain at the same level as the standard FreeClip 2 model.
In addition to these two products, Huawei is expected to share all the details about the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max models at the global launch event. After the event, information such as which markets the new tablet and headset will be available for sale, their pricing and release schedule will become clear.
