Huawei MatePad Pro Max appeared before the launch with its ultra-thin design

Huawei shared the design and basic technical features of the MatePad Pro Max model before the official launch. The tablet, which will be introduced at the company’s global event in Bangkok, stands out as the thinnest model of the MatePad family so far. In the short promotional video released by Huawei, it was confirmed that the device is only 4.7 mm thick. According to the shared information, MatePad Pro Max will come with a 13.2 inch OLED PaperMatte screen. The panel, which offers 3K resolution, has very thin frames of 3.55 mm around it. PaperMatte screen technology, which Huawei has recently used in various products, draws attention especially with its reflection reduction and paper feel when using a pen. This approach can take the tablet to a more assertive position in both content consumption and productivity. Thanks to its thin frame structure, the screen-to-body ratio is expected to be high.

On the tablet side, design details also attract attention. Huawei confirmed that it will include a new surface coating on the device, which it describes as “luminous”. It can be seen that this coating creates different reflections under light. There is a dual camera setup at the back. Although the company has not yet shared technical details about the camera features, it is known that the previous models of the MatePad Pro series focused on document scanning, video calling and productivity-oriented software features. Huawei MatePad Pro Max may come with high-end hardware

Huawei has recently started to use its own Kirin platforms on smartphones and tablets more visibly.
