Google removes Google Assistant and makes Gemini standard

Google goes to a major change in artificial intelligence -supported assistant services and gradually disables Google Assistant. According to the company’s official blog, more users will be upgraded to Gemini in the coming months, and Google assistant will be unused on most mobile devices. The new download option will also be removed from mobile app stores. With this change, devices that work with Android 9 or older and do not have at least 2GB of RAM will continue to use the Google Assistant. However, the way the company proposed for current devices will be the adoption of Gemini.

In addition, Google plans not only on mobile devices, but also on tablets, smart watches, headphones and cars. With this transition, a new experience with Gemini will be offered on domestic devices, including smart speakers, screens and televisions. The company will share the details of this new system in the coming months. In spite of everything, this process is expected to be handled at the Google I/O developer conference and more details will be explained here. Until this process is completed, Google assist will continue to be available.

Google determines a new direction by changing its artificial intelligence strategy

Since its introduction in 2016, Google assistant has been at the center of the company’s artificial intelligence -supported services. But by changing its strategy in this field, Google sets a new direction -oriented direction and aims to create a more comprehensive ecosystem under the Gemini brand. In addition to all these, it is planned to be more integrated with Gemini and artificial intelligence -supported services with other products of Google. This new system aims to offer users a more advanced and smart experience.

However, there are certain uncertainties for those who actively use the Google Assistant. It is not yet clear which capabilities of Gemini will have and whether Google Assistant will take over all its functions. How quickly users will adapt to this change and whether Gemini meets expectations will be revealed over time. In addition, the effects of this transition on Google’s ecosystem will be closely monitored.

In the light of all this, Google’s radical change in the field of artificial intelligence is considered a critical step to strengthen the company’s location in the technology industry. The company launches a new era by putting Gemini instead of Google Assistant to have more sayings in the field of artificial intelligence and to improve the user experience. On the other hand, this change will require a compliance process for device owners connected to the Google ecosystem. Users’ reactions to this new system and the speed of adoption will offer clues about Google’s future in the field of artificial intelligence.
