Google and Samsung are collaborating on Galaxy S25 devices to improve artificial intelligence-based user experiences. Galaxy S25 promotional materials leaked today pointed to Google’s artificial intelligence platform Gemini as one of the device’s highlights. According to the leak, Google Gemini will gain special extensions to integrate with Samsung’s Calendar, Notes and Reminder applications.
These extensions will enable Gemini to interact more deeply with these applications. For example, through Gemini, users will be able to create, edit or delete calendar events, create events by extracting information from images, list events within a specific date range, and add recurring events.
Additionally, features such as creating and summarizing notes and fetching notes based on specific descriptions or titles will also be supported. Regarding reminders, operations such as creating, editing, searching and deleting can be performed.
These features represent just a fraction of what Gemini can do with Samsung apps. Although Gemini cannot offer all the functionality in these applications, these integrations will make the AI experience much more functional for users. Although Google has its own competing applications such as Samsung Calendar and Notes, it is noteworthy that it chose to highlight Gemini on Samsung’s devices with this collaboration.
Google Gemini will extend to Samsung models other than S25
