Garmin has introduced its latest GPS smartwatch called the Enduro 3. The smartwatch, which emphasizes its lightness, can be charged with solar energy and thus offers a long battery life.
Weighing 63 grams on the scales, the Enduro 3 can run for up to 320 hours in GPS mode when charged using solar power. It also offers features like dynamic round-trip routing, trail running VO2 max insights, and preloaded TopoActive maps.
One of the key features of the Enduro 3 is its solar cell, which captures more than twice the amount of solar energy compared to its predecessor, contributing to a battery life of 320 hours in GPS mode. The watch also features SatIQ technology, which helps preserve battery life by automatically switching between GPS modes while ensuring accurate positioning.
The Enduro 3 comes in a durable case with a titanium frame, sapphire lens and nylon band. The smartwatch also features a built-in LED flashlight with adjustable brightness, red light and a strobe mode for low-light conditions.
For trail runners, the Enduro 3 offers VO2 max insights, grade-adjusted pace, and NextFork Map Guides. It also includes dynamic out-and-back routing, TopoActive maps, and preloaded maps for golf courses and ski resorts.
Garmin Enduro 3 offers 4-6 week fitness plans
The watch offers advanced strength training features with 4-6 week plans and sport-specific workouts. In addition to its endurance capabilities, the Enduro 3 tracks performance metrics like VO2 max, training load, and heat and altitude adaptation. It also offers health and fitness tracking features like HRV status, Pulse Ox, sleep tracking, and an FDA-cleared ECG app.
For connectivity, the Enduro 3 supports Garmin Messenger for two-way text messaging, Garmin Share for location and workout sharing, and smart notifications. There’s also Garmin Pay support for contactless payments and the ability to stream music via Spotify, Deezer, or Amazon Music.
For the Garmin Enduro 3, you have to pay $899.99.
