Galaxy Z Flip FE’s screen will be the same as Z Flip 6

Since Samsung launched its first foldable phone in 2019, speculations have been raised that it would release more affordable foldable models. It is claimed that the company plans to introduce the Galaxy Z Flip FE model in the second half of 2025. It is stated that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will inherit an important component used in the Galaxy Z Flip 6: The display panel.

According to the information provided by Ross Young, one of the well-known names in the industry in screen technology, Galaxy Z Flip FE will use the screen panel of Galaxy Z Flip 6. In line with this information, it is predicted that the new model will have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with Full HD + resolution. In addition, this screen will support 120 Hz variable refresh rate.

The foldable LTPO OLED panel produced by Samsung Display is protected by Ultra Thin Glass (UTG). This screen, which has HDR10 + certification, can reach a maximum brightness of 2600 nits. These features show that Galaxy Z Flip FE will offer a high-end screen experience even though it is an affordable model.

What features will Galaxy Z Flip FE come with?

Although information about the technical specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip FE is still limited, the device is expected to come with the Exynos 2400 processor, 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. It is not clear whether the battery and camera hardware in the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be used in this model, but such a situation may please Samsung users.

Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to attract a wider user base to Samsung’s foldable device ecosystem. It is considered that this device can gain an important place in the market with its affordable price and high-end screen features. It seems that Samsung aims to offer both premium experience and affordable price advantage to its users with this new model.

Details about Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip FE model are expected to become clear in the later months of 2025. The new device has the potential to bring access to foldable phones to wider audiences.
