Samsung’s new generation foldable model Galaxy Z Flip 7 appeared in the Geekbench test before the expected promotion in July. The Exynos 2500 processor version, which is shown in the list, offers concrete information about the first Dual processor structure that comes to the Z series for the first time. The fact that this approach, which was previously tried in the Galaxy S series, brought to the Flip series, brought up performance concerns for some users.
The results measured in Geekbench show that the Exynos 2500 scored 2,356 in a single core and 8,076 points in a multi -core. These scores offer an increase on paper compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gene 3, which is used in the Galaxy Z Flip 6 last year. However, this rise does not seem enough compared to the 2025 model Snapdragon 8 gene 4 elite processor admirals.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 will also offer innovations other than hardware
When Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Elite has achieved a single -core exceeding 3,200 and multiple core scores of 10,000 levels in models such as Galaxy S25 and Z Fold 7, it is clearly seen that the Exynos 2500 is left behind in this area. In addition, although the 10 -core structure of the processor is technically ambitious, issues such as productivity and heat balance still stand as a question mark. At the Exynos 2500, there are Cortex-X925 at 3.3 GHz, two Cortex-A725 at 2.75 GHz and A725 seeds at 2.36 GHz. In addition, the two Cortex-A520 productivity core works run at 1.8 GHz.
On the graphic side, the XClipse 950 GPU, the product of Samsung and AMD partnership, is used. Although this is limited to the test results for the GPU’s graphic processing performance, it is limited to the test results, theoretically promises a significant improvement in mobile games and visual loads. While the device is supported with 12 GB of RAM, this memory capacity is able to keep up with the current admirals on the Multitasking side. However, despite the high power of the chip, how to offer heat management within the compact case will become clear in real world tests.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 also attracts attention with the innovations offered by the hardware. The new 4 -inch cover screen aims to expand the folded use scenarios of the device. In addition, the Android 16 -based One UI 8 software makes the device compatible with the current Android admirals in terms of both design and functionality. Satellite connection support is considered to be more intended for emergency communication, but the effect on daily use may be limited.
The return of Samsung to Exynos preference brings the brand’s confidence to the processors, which is its own production. However, past performance and heating problems have created a prejudice against Exynos processors. For this reason, the exynos 2500 is still unclear whether a stable and efficient experience can present in long -term use. Despite everything, the double -processor structure offers a flexibility based on regional differences in the market.
The version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 with Exynos 2500 is not known how to take place in the price-performance balance. The difference between Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Elite models is expected to be limited to the processor. Factors such as thermal performance, battery durability and software optimization will also be decisive in the general evaluation of the device. Therefore, Geekbench scores alone are not enough for the final judgment.
It has always been a matter of curiosity how a phone with a foldable structure will offer a heat management with a strong processor in a narrow space. In this context, Exynos 2500 needs high optimal software support to maintain its efficient operation. Samsung’s One UI 8 version is estimated to make improvements in this direction. Nevertheless, the final user experience will only become clear with the release of the device.
