In Türkiye, some electronic products offered for sale on the grounds that the security criteria did not meet the confiscation process. Following the technical inspections carried out by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK), the Ministry of Commerce took action and decided to withdraw from the market for five different devices. It was determined that these devices carry potential risks to users and contain incompatibility with the existing regulations. One of these devices, Reeder S19 Max Pro S Zoom, was among the remarkable models.
The S19 Max Pro S zoom model of the Reeder brand is one of the most popular products, especially due to technical incompatibilities and security vulnerabilities. The device, radio equipment regulation in the scope of Article 5 reportedly reportedly did not meet the conditions. The regulation contains obligations such as not damaging human health, electromagnetic compatibility and efficient use of radio spectrum. In addition, the devices must be compatible with commonly used charger and offer connection to related interface systems.
With this model, other mobile phones, which are covered by the collection, are Dijitsu DCT 90, Hiking X11 and Hiking X9. In addition, the Mercusys AC1200 wireless speaker device was included in the list of products to be withdrawn from the market for similar reasons. With the notification published on the Insecure Product Information System (fertilizer), it was announced to the public that these products failed in technical inspections. Inspections revealed problems such as incompatibility and hardware imbalances, especially in electromagnetic interactions.
Due to the safety risks identified, the decision to seize the products was taken
The Ministry of Commerce emphasizes that such audits are carried out sustainable in terms of consumer security. This process works by testing the devices on the market regularly by institutions such as BTK. If any product does not meet the specified technical and legal criteria, the relevant importer or manufacturer is obliged to withdraw products from the market. It is reported that the deficiencies detected in these devices may adversely affect not only individual user security, but also the environmental electromagnetic balance.
Therefore, the right to return and exchange is recognized for users who have one of the mentioned devices. Citizens can apply to the store or seller they purchased the product in question. During the return process, the price of the product is repaid to the consumer or a similar product can be provided depending on the preference. In order for consumers to exercise this right, it is sufficient for them to benefit from the official notification that the product is included in the scope of the collection.
The release of the Reeder S19 Max Pro S zoom has reached a wide audience due to its low -priced audience, making it even more critical. The processor, battery and connection features in the technical details of the device did not meet the compliance standards sufficiently. In the technical report published by the BTK, it is stated that the device sends signals exceeding the necessary protection values at some frequencies. This is evaluated both in terms of user health and a negative impact on the operation of other wireless devices.
Hiking and Dijitsu brands, which are among the other models collected, are also known to have high demand in the low price segment. However, the incomplete tests of these products in the production and distribution processes of these products shake the perception of reliability for such devices in the market. Although some users have not complained about these devices, decisions taken in line with technical inspections are supported by scientific data. In this context, people who continue to use devices are recommended to move considering the potential risks.
Mercusys AC1200 model speaker was also identified by BTK that similar technical deficiencies. It was determined that the parasite values that occur during wireless transmission were above the specified boundaries. However, the fact that the device was not fully compatible with the European Union regulations was also effective in the decision to seize. The product has deficiencies in the ability to connect with different interfaces.
All information about the collected devices is shared openly to users access through the insecure product information system. The Ministry recalls that such papers are binding for both producers and consumers. On the other hand, it is emphasized that users should turn to CE certified, TSE approved and official importer guaranteed devices in new product purchases. This approach is important in terms of both technical compatibility and long -term user satisfaction.
