Redmi is working on the Redmi Note 14 series, which will be launched in the Chinese market. The brand, which introduced the Note 13 series in September of last year, confirms that the Note 14 models have received 3C certification and that this series will be introduced in the second half of this month. Finally, Redmi General Manager Wang Teng Thomas shared clues about the arrival of the next-generation Note series on Weibo. Thomas’ latest posts reveal some important information about the expected improvements in the Note 14 series.
Thomas confirmed in a post on Weibo that the new Redmi Note models will come with IP68 certification. As you may recall, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ model, introduced last year, was released with a case with IP68 certification. However, the Note 13 Pro and Note 13 models came with IP54 certification. This year, it seems certain that the high-end Note 14 Pro+ model will have IP68 certification. However, it is not yet clear whether the Note 14 Pro model will receive the same certification.
In a more recent Weibo post, Thomas noted that the new Note series models will offer improvements in areas such as durability and battery life. Like Apple’s iPhone 16 series, these improvements will significantly improve the user experience. The Note 13 Pro model, which was released last year, came with a 5,100mAh battery and 67W fast charging support. The Note 13 Pro+ model, on the other hand, had a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery but supported 120W fast charging. It is thought that the Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ models will feature larger batteries.
Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ come with more powerful features
According to the latest reports, the Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ models will be equipped with curved-edge OLED displays with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Both models will feature a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back. The Note 14 Pro model is expected to use the newly introduced Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, while the Pro+ model is expected to come with the Dimensity 7350 chipset. It is also stated that one of these models will support 90W fast charging.
The new Redmi Note 14 series is expected to be launched this month. Features like improved durability, stronger battery performance, and high-speed charging support could make this series quite popular among users.
