Xiaomi is preparing to launch two new tablets, Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, soon. The main specifications of both devices were leaked in China. If you were waiting for a successor to the Pad 6S Pro, these devices are not that. As the naming suggests, these models will replace the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro, introduced in April 2023.

According to leaks, Pad 7 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and will have 45W wired charging support. On the other hand, Pad 7 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and offer 67W wired charging support.

It is stated that both tablets will share the same 11.16-inch LCD screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Pad 6S Pro will continue to be on sale as Xiaomi’s top-level tablet. It is unclear exactly when Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro will be introduced; However, it is thought that this launch may take place at the end of this month, when Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will be announced.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will come with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

Xiaomi’s new tablet models aim to meet users’ expectations with different chipsets and charging speeds. While Pad 7 offers strong performance in the middle segment with its Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, Pad 7 Pro is supported by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for those looking for higher performance. The screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate in both models promises to take gaming and multimedia experiences to the next level.

Although there is no clear information yet about the official launch date of the tablets, the possibility of them being announced at the same event with the Xiaomi 15 series excites technology enthusiasts. It is clear that Xiaomi aims to make a difference in terms of both performance and charging speed with these new tablets. In particular, Pad 7 Pro’s 67W charging support offers an attractive option for users who care about fast charging technology.
