Apple shared a comprehensive preview of the new accessibility features to be integrated into the operating system before iOS 19, which is expected to be introduced with the WWDC 2025 event in June. Among the innovations announced, especially for Carplay, two important functions attract attention: great text support and advanced sound recognition feature. These developments aim to provide a more accessible and safe user experience for both drivers and passengers.
The great text support to be integrated into the Carplay interface makes this feature, which iPhone users have been able to access for a long time, now can be used on in -car screens. In this way, the readability of texts is increasing for individuals who have difficulty in vision. However, the new audio recognition for users with hearing impaired or hearing loss aims to increase in -car safety. Carplay will be able to detect a baby crying in the car and transfer it to the user with a visual notification. In addition, the warning sounds outside the vehicle – police sirens, ambulance or firefighters’ horn – the user will be notified when perceived.
iOS 19 expands the personalizable accessibility experience between devices

The live subtitle feature is expanding its language range.
