ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced today that ROG Ally X, the new member of the popular handheld console series, will come to Turkey. Designed for gamers to play Windows 11 games on the go, ROG Ally X stands out with its better ergonomics, cooling and connectivity features. This device, which will take its place in the Turkish market at the end of the summer, aims to offer players a unique experience.
ROG Ally X has made updates to many key internal components based on user feedback. The new model offers more storage space with 1 TB SSD, allowing players to easily store all their games. Additionally, the device's redesigned motherboard with M.2 2280 form factor slot allows users to easily expand their storage space with larger drives.
Improved memory and performance on ASUS ROG Ally X
In addition to the storage upgrade, the flexibility of the device has been increased with 24 GB LPDDR5X-7500 RAM. The AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor supports the high-resolution and realistic textures of modern games by sharing video RAM with system RAM. In this way, better performance is achieved in new generation AAA games.
ROG Ally X is equipped with an 80 Wh battery with twice the capacity of the previous model. This allows gamers to game for longer periods of time away from an outlet. Despite this great improvement in battery life, the device is only 70 grams heavier and gives the user a light feeling thanks to its weight distribution.
The device has deeper handles and a more rounded shape for greater comfort. The case, which comes in a new black color, draws attention with its ergonomically arranged buttons and levers. Additionally, the macro buttons on the back have been redesigned to reduce accidental presses and keep them easily accessible.
The control arms have been replaced with new modules that have stiffer springs and are rated for a 5 million cycle life. The D-Pad has been enhanced to provide more precise eight-way input for fighting and retro gaming. In this way, players experience a more precise and easy-to-control gaming experience.
ROG Ally X comes with two USB-C ports. One of these ports is Thunderbolt compatible for interoperability with third-party docks and external GPUs. This gives users expanded connectivity options for those who demand more universal I/O.
The device uses 23 percent smaller fans to accommodate the new battery. New tunnels in the fan housing direct air better, providing 24% more airflow through the device. This thermal solution keeps not only the internal components but also the touch screen cooler, ensuring long-term comfortable use.
ASUS ROG Ally X will be available in Turkey towards the end of the summer. Pricing information will be announced shortly before the device goes on sale.
