Aqara, which develops smart home technologies, introduced nine new products to technology enthusiasts within the scope of CES 2025. Most of these featured devices will meet users in the USA later in the year. The products introduced by Aqara include a large touch-screen panel, a hub that supports the Zigbee protocol, and innovative solutions such as the Matter bridge. With these new products, the company aims to both improve the user experience and create a broader ecosystem in smart home technologies.
Aqara’s new smart home solutions
Aqara announced that it has developed in-wall control panels to provide users with easier access to smart devices. Panel Hub S1 Plus, Touchscreen Dial V1 and Touchscreen Switch S100 US models attract attention with their stylish touch screen interfaces. These devices allow all smart devices in the home to be controlled from a single center. In particular, the Panel Hub S1 Plus can control a wide range of devices with its 6.9-inch screen and dual-band Wi-Fi support. This panel has various functions such as managing lights, cameras, door locks, thermostats and curtains. Moreover, it provides compatibility with more devices thanks to its Zigbee hub and Matter bridge feature.
The company’s other new products include the dual-protocol Light Switch H2 and Dimmer Switch H2 models. Developed specifically for the North American market, these switches combine both traditional and modern control methods. This move by Aqara allows users to seamlessly expand their existing smart home systems.
However, Aqara continues to increase the interoperability of smart home devices. The company has developed new sensors and border routers that support the Thread protocol. One of these products, the Presence Multi-Sensor FP300, offers multiple detection functions such as human detection and environmental monitoring. Additionally, it is aimed to improve the indoor climate control experience with Climate Sensor W100. Aqara’s Matter Controller series is also being expanded; The newly added Hub M100 to this series attracts attention with its compact design. In addition, Doorbell Camera Hub G410, which offers both security and connection features together, aims to set a new standard in home security.
Standing out among Aqara’s new devices, Panel Hub S1 Plus was the brand’s most striking product at the fair. This advanced control panel can replace a traditional light switch and control two different lights. It also takes home automation to the next level by triggering scenes and routines. Users can interact with devices via this panel without needing their smartphones. Aqara announced that this panel will be available in the European market at the end of this month and in the USA later in the year.
These innovations follow other products that Aqara is launching in 2024. For example, last October the company introduced Apple Home Key support, Matter and Thread compatibility. Aqara Smart Lock U300 introduced his model. Last month, a new valve controller developed for water control was launched.
As a result, these new products introduced by Aqara at CES 2025 prove once again that it focuses on user-friendly experiences in smart home technologies. The company’s strategy is to continue appealing to a wider range of users by increasing device compatibility. It looks like Aqara’s innovations in the smart home market will be supported by even more devices in the coming months.
