Apple is preparing to manufacture the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models in India. If this claim shared by Bloomberg turns out to be true, it will be the first time in the company’s history that the Pro model has been manufactured in a country other than China.
According to the news, Foxconn, Apple’s number one manufacturing partner, will begin producing the Pro and Pro max models in China within weeks after the announcement of the iPhone 16 series.
Apple has been assembling iPhones in India for seven years. According to a report published in recent months, India’s share in iPhone production has reached 14 percent.
This rate is expected to rise to 25 percent by the beginning of next year. It is also claimed that the company produces the iPhone 17 only in India.
