Apple continues to strengthen its moves in the field of mixed reality with new software features. A new particularly developed for the company’s Vision Pro title will be able to scroll using only eyes between the screens. This new functionality stands out as an important part of the improvements to be presented with the Visionos 3 update. According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple optimizes its shift feature with eye -catching for its own built -in applications.
Although there is no definite information on how this innovation in the test phase works yet, it is estimated that basic logic will be in the form of a user interface or the start of shift by looking at the edge of the page for a certain period of time. This approach aims to provide a more natural interaction between content without the need for classical physical touches or controlling movements. Thus, it will be possible for users to move fluently between the pages without having to use their hands. Apple’s feature to make this feature available on the developer side of the API -level work is stated.
Currently, Vision Pro makes it possible to react to a visible object with a finger compression movement. However, shift processes are still based on physical movements. For example, users can lift up or down by combining their fingers or use an analog bar through a game control. It is also possible to provide a ride with the help of a Bluetooth -supported mouse.
Apple has been reported to be preparing to transform forms of interaction with Visionos 3
At this point, the new eye shift feature can take the limits of Vision Pro in the sense of interaction one step further. However, it is known that Apple -Dwell Control, which Apple has previously offered in the field of accessibility, offers limited user experience. Therefore, the new system is expected to offer both faster and more intuitive use. The steps taken by the company in this field are not limited to accessibility solutions, but aim to the general user experience.
The Visionos 3 update is expected to be officially introduced at the World Developers Conference (WWDC 2025) to be held in June. In this event, other user -oriented improvements will be included in the visual shift feature. Apple’s new artificial intelligence -supported features, especially for visually impaired users, can also be introduced at this event. In addition to all these, a general improvement will be made in system performance.
Apple Vision Pro’s US sales price is already at the level of $ 3.499. When calculated at the current exchange rate, this price corresponds to approximately 135,400 TL. However, this product in the Turkish market has not yet been officially available. In spite of everything, it can be foreseen that the price of Türkiye will be much higher when taxes and import items are added.
Apple’s importance to software developments in the mixed reality vision is becoming more and more prominent. Although the Vision Pro hardware is technically strong, Visionos is the main factor that determines the experience of the device. For this reason, it is remarkable that innovations such as shifts are firstly considered at the software level. Nevertheless, Apple’s hardware and software integrity at the same time develops strategy.
The new eye shift feature does not only increase comfort; It also makes users interact with content more intuitive. In particular, the control based on eye tracking can provide great convenience in operations such as document reading, navigation in social media content or transition between menus. In addition, different groups of user groups may also find this together to find Vision Pro more accessible. But to what extent all these potential gains will become reality, the stable version of Visionos 3 will emerge.
Apple’s other Visionos innovations that Apple will announce at 2025 will be closely monitored. When evaluated for users, the Vision Pro can be seen as an important step towards becoming more independent and natural. If Apple opens this feature to third -party applications, new forms of interaction can be opened in the mixed reality ecosystem. In any case, it seems likely that eye control will become an indispensable tool for daily use, not only accessibility in the future.
