It is not clear which product this panel, which is still in the development phase, is prepared for. Despite this, the allegations indicate that Apple is evaluating different screen sizes for the high-end iPhone model, which is expected to be introduced in 2027.
Apple’s plans for 2027 have been on the agenda of the technology world for a long time. Since it will be 20 years since the company introduced the first iPhone, remarkable innovations in terms of design are expected to come during this period. Various previous reports have suggested that Apple is working on a new design that makes the screen bezels even thinner and whose front side consists almost entirely of glass. While it was initially rumored that this would be a special anniversary model similar to the iPhone X, recently published information shows that this design can be transferred directly to the new Pro models.

However, it is estimated that the panel may be evaluated for the top-level Pro Max model, which is expected to be introduced next year.
