It is almost certain that Apple will introduce the iPhone 16 series next September. However, rumors are already spinning about next year’s iPhones. According to a new claim, Apple is preparing to make significant changes to the iPhone 17 series.
According to the post made by famous tipster Ice Universe, there will be four models in the iPhone 17 series again. However, instead of the iPhone 17 Plus, the iPhone 17 Slim model will be available to users. The iPhone 17 Slim model will accompany the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro will come with 6.27-inch screens. The Slim and Pro Max models will come with 6.65- and 6.86-inch screens, respectively. All members of the iPhone 17 series will have LPTO panels and 120 Hz ProMotion refresh rate support.
This will bring the standard iPhone models in line with the Pro models in terms of display technology. The company will also continue with the familiar Dynamic Island display design.
Apple is also expected to improve the cameras on the Pro models. The Cupertino-based company is said to be using a 48-megapixel sensor on both the main camera and the telephoto and ultra-wide cameras. A Time-of-Flight sensor will also be present on the phones.
Details about the camera systems of the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Slim remain unclear, but it seems highly likely that the base model will feature a dual camera system.
The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Slim are expected to come with Apple’s A19 Bionic processor. The Pro models will have the A19 Pro processor. However, the A19 Pro is expected to be produced with TSMC’s 3nm design. It is also considered certain that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon modems will be used in the entire series.
The USB-C port, Face ID, aluminum frame for the standard models and titanium frame for the Pro variants are also among the talked about features of the phones.
