Honor officially announced its new budget-friendly smartphone, Honor Play 9C. The phone was offered for sale at a starting price of 799 yuan (3896 TL) (6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage). Honor Play 9C has a price tag of 999 yuan (4871 TL) with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage option.
Honor Play 9C has a 6.56 inch TFT LCD screen. While the screen supports HD + (720 x 1612) resolution, it offers a smoother usage experience with a 90Hz refresh rate. According to the company’s statement, the brightness of the screen can reach up to 780 nits, which allows it to provide clear images even under direct sunlight.
One of the highlights of this affordable phone is the Smart Capsule feature, which is implemented similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island design. Honor Play 9C, which weighs 190 grams and is 8.39 mm thick, also has the Swiss SGS five-star drop and impact resistance certificate, which increases its durability.
On the back of the phone, there is a 13-megapixel main camera with f / 1.8 aperture. Apart from 1080p video recording, this camera also offers basic photo and video features such as time-lapse shooting, night mode, portrait mode, panoramic photography, dual-image video recording, HDR and smile capture. On the front, there is a selfie camera with 5 megapixel resolution.
