It is said that Apple is preparing a new, more affordable version of the Vision Pro mixed reality headset. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the new Apple Vision will work connected to an iPhone or Mac.
Gurman stated that the new Vision was developed under the code name N107 and will retain the main features of Vision Pro. It was stated that the expected cuts would be made from production costs.
At the heart of Apple’s plan is that the new Vision works by connecting to an iPhone or Mac via cable. The new Vision is expected to have a narrower field of view compared to the Vision Pro. The end of 2025 is indicated for the release of the title.
