Anker is preparing the Soundcore AeroClip 2 open headphone, which holds on with a clip without entering the ear, for Europe. According to the shared features, the new model will offer Bluetooth 6.0, LDAC support and a six-microphone calling system. AeroClip 2 has a 12 mm diameter dual magnetic circuit driver. The headset supports AAC and SBC codecs as well as LDAC for high-definition streaming. Bluetooth 6.0 connection comes with the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously. Apple MFi compatibility aims to simplify the connection process with iPhone and other Apple devices.
On the call side, six microphones work with a dedicated AI chip for noise reduction. Anker states that the new processor has 150 times higher processing capacity than the previous solution. The system focuses on separating speech sound from surrounding traffic and wind. The actual usage performance of this claim will be understood through independent tests.
The C-shaped body is designed to apply balanced pressure to the front and back of the ear. The company says the fitting can withstand 10,000 bends. While HearID 5.0 support creates a personalized sound profile, the structure called GoldenFit aims to adapt to different ear shapes. The eight-hour battery life of the headphones increases to 32 hours with the charging box. The fast charging feature can provide up to four hours of listening time after ten minutes in the box. The first generation AeroClip is available at the Anker Germany store for 129.99 euros. The 179.99 euro tag of the second generation means an increase of 50 euros.
