CMF showed its new wireless headset for the first time

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF shared the first clue that it is working on a new wireless headphone model. Although the entire product is not shown in the promotional image published by the company, a part of a wireless headset with a stem design is clearly visible. The design, which is predominantly white and silver tones, also includes an orange detail that we are accustomed to from CMF products. No official statement has yet been made about the name of the product, its technical specifications or its launch date. Despite this, the image shows that CMF is preparing to expand its headphone series with a new model in 2026.

The shared image gives some clues, especially about design. While a light-colored surface with a metallic appearance is preferred on the stem section of the headset, the orange piece at the tip maintains the connection with CMF’s current design approach. Since the image is a close-up, it is not possible to see details such as the structure of the earphone tip, the location of the microphones and possible touch control areas. Similarly, it is not yet known what the charging box will look like. Therefore, more information is needed to evaluate to what extent the new model will differ from the existing CMF Buds family.

New CMF Buds model may join the Buds 3 family

The history of CMF’s wireless headphone products raises some possibilities for the name of the next model. The company introduced the CMF Buds Pro 2 model in 2024, and Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus were added to the product range in 2025. Considering this order, it seems possible that the introduced headset will come under the name CMF Buds 3. In addition, it is also possible to choose a different name such as Buds 3 Pro or Buds 3 Plus. However, since CMF has not yet confirmed the model name, all of these options remain at the level of guesswork at the current stage.

The vagueness of the model name creates a similar picture regarding technical specifications. CMF’s current Buds series includes up-to-date wireless headset features such as active noise cancellation, different sound profiles and control via mobile app. It can be expected that the new model will offer improved versions of these features, but there are no technical details confirmed by the company. In addition, information that may directly affect the purchasing decision, such as battery life, Bluetooth version, size of audio drivers and water resistance level, is not disclosed. Therefore, the first post is a preliminary introduction that focuses on showing the design language of the product rather than its features.

While there are expectations that CMF may not offer a new smartphone for 2026, the brand appears to continue its work in other product categories. Wireless headphones have become one of the product groups that CMF regularly renews alongside phones. At this point, it will be particularly decisive at which price level the new headset will be positioned; Because the Buds family has so far focused on bringing together up-to-date features at more accessible prices. However, it is not yet clear whether the metallic surfaces seen in the design are only a visual change or whether they also bring a difference on the material side. When the official technical information is announced, it will be possible to more clearly evaluate how significant an upgrade the new model offers over the previous CMF Buds options.

It seems possible that CMF will not be satisfied with the first image and will share other details about the product in the coming days. Considering the company’s phased introduction approach, different parts of the design, the charging case or some key features may be shown before the official announcement. For now, the most concrete information available is that a handle design and orange detail accompanying the white-silver color scheme will be used. Whether the product will be called Buds 3, Buds 3 Pro or Buds 3 Plus will be determined with the official statement of CMF. Details such as price, battery performance and noise cancellation will be the main factors that will determine the place of the new headset in the CMF Buds series.
