Oppo quietly announced the Reno 15A model, which it prepared specifically for the Japanese market. Considering its technical specifications and model number, the company’s new phone shares the same hardware with the Oppo Reno 15F, which was previously sold in different markets. Therefore, the Reno 15A stands out as a renamed Reno 15F version for Japan.
There is a 6.6 inch AMOLED screen on the front of the device. The screen, which offers Full HD + resolution, provides a smoother usage experience thanks to its 120 Hz refresh rate. In addition, 10-bit color support and peak brightness that can reach 1,400 nits are among the notable features of the screen. The fingerprint reader is positioned under the panel protected by AGC Dragontrail STAR D+ glass.
On the performance side, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor works. This chipset is accompanied by LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, which is widely used in the middle segment, aims to offer a balanced performance in daily use, social media applications and multitasking scenarios. In addition, it provides an advantage in energy efficiency and contributes to the usage time of the large battery.
Oppo Reno 15A focuses on long battery life
One of the most striking features of Reno 15A is its 7,000 mAh battery. While many manufacturers have turned to battery technologies with higher energy density in recent years, Oppo also emphasizes long usage time in this model. Thanks to its large battery capacity, the device is aimed to easily complete the day even under heavy use. In addition, 80W fast charging support and 55W PPS charging technology also help the device gain energy in a short time.
On the camera side, there is a triple rear camera system. The main camera uses a 50-megapixel resolution sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support.
