The first technical details about the Oppo Find X10 Pro, which is expected to be Oppo’s next flagship model, have emerged. Information shared by Chinese leak source Digital Chat Station shows that the device may come with notable upgrades on the screen, camera, processor and battery. Although not yet confirmed by Oppo, the shared features indicate that the company aims to increase competition in the upper segment.
According to the leak, Oppo Find X10 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch flat OLED LTPO screen. While it is stated that the screen will offer 1.5K resolution, it is stated that very thin frames are preferred on all four sides. The panel, which has large and rounded corners, is said to use the new generation Tianma display infrastructure. This choice is expected to bring some improvements in terms of image quality, energy efficiency and screen durability.
On the performance side of the device, it is stated that MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 processor, which has a 2 nanometer production process, which has not been announced yet, may be included. MediaTek, which has become more visible in the upper segment of the mobile processor market in recent years, offers a strong alternative to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platforms with its Dimensity series. In addition, it is claimed that the Find X10 Pro will have an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and offer a high level of protection against water and dust thanks to its IP68 and IP69 certifications.
Oppo Find X10 Pro may come with ambitious features on the camera side
The most striking part of the leak was the details about the camera system. Allegedly, Oppo Find X10 Pro will use a 200-megapixel HPC main camera developed by Samsung. The sensor, which is approximately 1/1.3 inch in size, is aimed to meet the expectations of upper segment users in terms of low light performance and detail level.
It is stated that in addition to the main camera, a second 200 megapixel telephoto camera may be included in the device. This telephoto camera with a large sensor is expected to be advantageous, especially in high-resolution zoom shots. While smartphone manufacturers have been investing more in periscope and telephoto camera systems in recent years, Oppo appears to be working on a different solution with its dual 200 megapixel approach. In addition, a multi-spectrum sensor with 3 megapixel resolution is also mentioned. It is stated that this sensor can be used to increase color accuracy and contribute to image processing processes.
A remarkable increase in battery capacity is also on the agenda. According to the leak, Find X10 Pro will carry an 8000 mAh class battery. This value indicates a significant increase compared to the Find X9 Pro battery with a capacity of 7500 mAh in the previous generation. Thanks to the recent spread of silicon-carbon battery technologies, manufacturers can offer higher capacity in thinner bodies. It seems likely that Oppo will take a similar approach.
However, it is stated that wireless charging support will be preserved. Combining larger battery capacity with wireless charging support can meet users’ expectations in terms of long usage time and ease of daily use. However, it should be reminded that all this information is based on early-stage leaks. Although it is not yet known when Oppo will introduce the Find X10 Pro model, the first information that emerges shows that the company is preparing an ambitious device in areas such as screen, camera and battery life. There is still the possibility of changes in technical specifications until the official announcement.
