Oppo Pad 5 Pro revealed in full pre-launch details

Oppo’s new flagship tablet, Oppo Pad 5 Pro, was spotted on China Telecom’s product database days before its official launch. The technical specifications and design details of the device, which is planned to be introduced in China on April 21, have become largely clear thanks to this listing. Other products such as Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s Pro, Pad Mini and Enco R5 are expected to take the stage at the same event.

According to leaked information, Oppo Pad 5 Pro directly targets performance-oriented users with its large screen and high-end hardware. It seems that the tablet will have an assertive position, especially in multimedia consumption and productivity. However, the fact that the device is limited to Wi-Fi connection only may pose a certain restriction for users looking for mobile data support.

There is a 13.2 inch panel on the screen side of the tablet. Offering a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, this screen offers a structure suitable for video watching and content consumption with its 16:9 aspect ratio. Despite this, the fact that the resolution is lower than some competing models may cause controversy, especially for users looking for high pixel density.

Oppo Pad 5 Pro performance and battery details

On the hardware side of the device, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (SM8850P) processor. While this chipset promises performance at the current flagship level, it aims to provide a smooth experience in scenarios such as multitasking and intensive application use. The fact that the tablet will run on the Android 16 operating system also indicates an up-to-date experience on the software side.

In addition, the 13,380 mAh capacity battery of Oppo Pad 5 Pro attracts attention. This capacity can be advantageous, especially in long-term use scenarios. The charging time is stated as approximately 120 minutes, which shows that despite the large battery, a reasonable charging time is offered. On the fast charging side, the expectation of 80W support also stands out, but this detail is not finalized yet.

On the camera side, there is a 13-megapixel sensor on the back of the tablet. It is noteworthy that no information has been shared about the front camera. Connection options include different Wi-Fi standards and Bluetooth support. However, the lack of cellular connection support limits the usage area of the device to certain scenarios.

In terms of design, Oppo Pad 5 Pro offers a thin and relatively light structure with a thickness of 5.94 mm and a weight of approximately 672 grams. These values paint a positive picture in terms of portability, especially for a tablet with a large screen. On the other hand, it seems likely that weight will be felt when used in the hand for a long time.

A wide range of storage and memory options are offered to the user. Options starting with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage extend up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. Color options include gold, brown and purple.
