After the Axon 50 Ultra and Axon 50 Lite models introduced in 2023, the new member of the Axon 50 series launched Standard Edition in China. While this model is located among other members of the series, it aims to attract daily use with technical features and aim to attract users looking for performance. The device, which attracts attention in terms of hardware balance, screen quality and camera capabilities, is a new alternative in the mid -segment. The screen renewal speed, processor and battery features of the model are among the prominent elements.
The ZTE Axon 50 standard comes with a 6.67 -inch AMOLED screen. The screen offers a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, while the 144Hz renewal speed provides a fluid user experience. The panel supports the 10-bit color depth and the entire DCI-P3 color gamut, and also promises high visibility in different light conditions with its brightness that reaches up to 1000 Nits. The screen, which has a low blue light certificate, aims to reduce eye fatigue in long -term use.
The screen of the device is offered with a design with 72.5 degrees sloping edges. This design makes it easier to hold the device and give a remarkable appearance aesthetically. The star light used on the rear surface, the Effeous AG glass coating supports the design with durability. ZTE says that this material offers extra resistance to scratches.
The ZTE Axon 50 standard is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ gene 1 processor. This processor has been developed with the production process of 4NM and can reach up to 3,19GHz frequency speed. The device is accompanied by 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage space. This configuration offers an uninterrupted experience, especially in the transitions between applications and games that require high processing power.
Behind the phone is a three -lens camera system
The rear camera of the Axon 50 Standard has a triple layout, which offers a wide range of uses in terms of photography. The main camera appears as a 64 -megapixel resolution lens supported by the Sony IMX787 sensor. Equipped with the optical image stabilization (OIS), this camera helps to achieve clearer frames under low light conditions. The second camera offers macro mode support with 50 Megapixel resolution and ultra wide -angle shots.
The telephoto camera can also make a resolution of 50 Megapixels and 3 layers of optical zoom. This camera stands out as a useful feature, especially for users who want to view remote objects clearly. ZTE says the Lightning Capture 3.0 technology, which is included in the device, shortens the shooting time by 30 percent. The same system increases the success of the shooting by 20 percent, making it more clearly captured by fast moments.
On the battery side, there is a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. This battery can reach high occupancy rates in a short time with 80W fast charging support. The device, which is expected to easily remove a day with a single charge in daily use, offers an advantage in intensive use scenarios. However, there is no clear information on whether the box contains an adapter.
The connection features include dual frequency L1+L5 GNSS positioning support. The Axon 50 Standard can offer China’s Beidou’s third generation position increasing system at a lower meter level. This feature provides more accurate location information, especially in outdoor activities or navigation use. In addition, a total of 13 antennas on the device contains and this structure aims to increase stability in mobile data, Wi-Fi and other wireless connections.
In addition to the hardware features of the phone, the infrared transmitter (IR Blastter) is also included in the device. With this feature, users can control compatible household goods such as television and air conditioning through the device. On the software side, ZTE’s Myos 12 interface is used. The Axon 50 standard is on sale with only one configuration: 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. In terms of price-performance ratio, this model draws a balanced profile in its own segment.
Together with the Axon 50 standard, ZTE introduced a new 5G mobile access point with the name U60 Pro. With a 10,000 mAh battery, this device offers advanced level connection features such as Wi-Fi 7 and NFC support. The U60 Pro, which is advantageous in terms of portability, targets mobile office users. Both devices can be considered as part of the strategy to strengthen the position of the brand in the middle segment.
