Youtube has passed satellite broadcasts during television watching times in Türkiye

According to the data, Youtube’s share in the total viewing time increased to 43 percent. The share of satellite broadcasts remained at the level of 36 percent. Thus, for the first time on television screens in Türkiye, a digital platform was on traditional publishing. Monitoring preferences are now shaped in the direction of online services that offer more users to choose content.

Linear publications, especially among young users, are rapidly falling. The prominent preferences in daily monitoring habits increase the weight of digital platforms.
