Xiaomi Mix Flip to be available outside of China

Xiaomi had unveiled its Mix Flip foldable phone last week. The company’s first clamshell foldable phone, the Mix Flip, is said to be available outside of China. Although Xiaomi has not made a statement on the matter, tipster Chun Bhai has stated that the phone will be released in certain countries and regions outside of China.

Chun Bhai also shared other details about the Mix Flip’s international journey. Among these details is that the foldable phone will be sold outside of China in rose gold and black. This means that the color scheme will be different from China. In China, the colors are listed as black, white, and “Phoenix Feather Fiber Edition.”

The Mix Flip is also reportedly set to go on sale in Europe, East and South East Asia soon. The foldable phone’s international price is said to be $100 less than its biggest rival, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 starts at $1,099 in the US, which means the Mix Flip will start at $999. The Mix Flip will reportedly be cheaper due to the lack of wireless charging and the presence of a USB 2.0 port.

What features does the Xiaomi Mix Flip come with?

The most striking aspect of the Mix Flip is its 4.01-inch cover screen. It is the largest in its category. Offering features such as a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 3000 nits maximum brightness, this screen is complemented by a 6.86-inch foldable screen.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor at the heart of the phone is accompanied by RAM options up to 16 GB. The maximum capacity for storage is 1 TB. 50-megapixel main camera, 50-megapixel telephoto camera, 32-megapixel front camera, and 4780 mAh battery with 67W charging support are also among the phone’s features.
