The launch of Xiaomi Mi Band 3 was teased mentioning its features like the Heart-rate Sensor, OLED Touchscreen, etc. Xiomi may launch the product soon in India. Manu Kumar Jain, the Global VP and Managing Director at Xiomi mentioned about this new product on 17th September at his twitter page. The post hinted the launch of Mi Band 3. While the tweet has nothing to say about the product, its hashtag #SmarterLiving points to the same.

Mi Band 3 Features

The Mi Band 3 will surely be an upgraded version of the Mi Band 2. The Mi Band 2 was launched in September 2016 in India. We will be able to see prominent differences in the two products in terms of their display. Xiaomi Mi Band 3 will have a touchscreen OLED display of 0.78-inch. It is apparently a decent enhancement compared to the Mi Band 2 0.42-inch display.

Further, Mi Band 3 is likely to display up to 26 characters having a 128 x 80 resolution. Users can also be in the comfort of getting immediate notifications from everyday used applications like WhatsApp and Facebook on the OLED screen. Further, Mi Band 3 will also show weather updates and caller ID.

Talking about the fitness tracking features, the new Xiaomi Mi Band 3 will have a heart rate sensor. It is highly optimised, and claims offer accurate details. Moreover, it is capable of real-time monitoring. Xiomi has used pedometer algorithms to ensure a step forward to accuracy in the Mi Band 3 step count. The fitness tracker on Mi Band 3 will be able to show real-time data for walking, running, cycling, and surprisingly, even swimming. It has a 5ATM water resistance rating assuring no liquid damage. Mi Band 3 also features sleep tracking, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy support, sedentary reminder, etc.  Users will need to install the Mi-Fit companion app on your phone to find the sleep tracking results. Mi Band 3 has a 110mAh battery capable of giving up to 20 days of standby time.
