xAI's Grok chatbot opens to X Premium subscribers

xAI, owned by Elon Musk, announced the chat bot named Grok as a rival to OpenAI's ChatGPT. What Elon Musk did from his X account by shareGrok will be available to X Premium subscribers this week.

Musk's post also includes a video showing how to communicate directly with Grok on X's website. Grok was made available to Premium+ subscribers with the completion of the early beta period. For the X Premium+ package, you need to pay 300 TL monthly or 3139.98 TL annually. The premium package is offered at half the price. Therefore, it paves the way for Grok to reach a wider audience.

Grok X Premium will undergo a bigger test with its expansion

xAI made the Grok-1 model, which forms Grok's infrastructure, open source in mid-March. About two weeks ago, Elon Musk sued OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman, accusing them of pursuing profit and abandoning their mission of not acting profit-oriented.

Musk, an early supporter of OpenAI, funded the company while its operations had just begun. In the lawsuit, Musk accused OpenAI of developing generative artificial intelligence to “maximize Microsoft's profits rather than benefit humanity.”

Grok will reach a wider audience by opening up to X Premium subscribers. It can easily be said that reaching this wide audience is a bigger test for Grok.
