Watchos 26 comes with new features on September 15

Apple will bring the Watchos 26 update to users on September 15th. This update was introduced at the WWDC 2025 event held in June and has been limited to the developer version since then. Now a wide audience will have the chance to experience this version. Nevertheless, it is already known that some new functions will only be special for certain Apple Watch models.

One of the most remarkable innovations of the update is the ability to end calls and notifications with the new wrist movement. This feature only appeals to those who have the Apple Watch Series 9 and later. When the user shakes the wrist forward and pulls back, searches and alarms close quickly. In addition, this function provides a significant convenience for people who have notification intensity. However, older device owners will not be able to benefit from this experience.

Watchos makes control more practical with the wrist movement

Apple Watch can now detect the sounds around it and adjust the sound level of notifications accordingly. In a quiet environment, the warnings from too loud are reduced, and in the crowd, sounds are increased. This feature stands out as an important step that increases comfort in daily use. In addition, users have a balanced experience in different environments. Thus, the capacity of the device to adapt to environmental conditions is expanding.

Apple Intelligence integrations are one of the prominent aspects of Watchos 26. The new function, named “Workout Buddy ,, analyzes the user’s health data and training history. As a result, it is provided that the personal goals are approaching or whether a record is broken. In addition, these suggestions aim to strengthen sports habits by giving them instantly. In addition to all these, the user -specific experience becomes more prominent.

The automatic translation function added to the messages application facilitates communication. Thanks to the two -way translation, the user can quickly texting in different languages. On the other hand, the Smart Stack structure brings advice on your location and time. For example, when entering the gym, the clock automatically emphasizes the training application. However, it is also possible to recommend different applications at different times of the day.

The Notes application is also moved to Apple Watch. Users can create new notes, fix their existing notes, and manage the to -do list directly from the time. This function creates an important plus value in terms of productivity. In addition, the clock becomes more centralized in daily work for people who actively use the Apple ecosystem. Thus, the device is not only a healthcare tool and becomes a functional assistant.

Apple, visually renews the clock interface. The new design language, called “Liquid Glass, offers a transparency -oriented understanding. Notifications, Widgets, control center and clock faces are rearranged in line with this aesthetic approach. The user interface gains a more modern look. In addition, the design change makes it more dynamic and remarkable.

Despite everything, it is noteworthy that some functions work only on new models. For example, the wrist movement is limited to Series 9 and after. This leads to more limited use of old device owners from the update. In addition, most of the new features stand out in highly hardware models. However, in the general framework, all compatible devices can benefit from functional innovations.

The overall approach of Watchos 26 focuses on facilitating daily life. Health monitoring, notification management and productivity functions are presented together. In addition to all these, personalization with the support of Apple Intelligence is moved to a higher level. This makes Apple Watch a more effective device in different usage areas. An experience in harmony with users’ daily habits stands out.
