Vivo V40e introduced with stylish design and powerful features

As expected, Vivo has launched the V40e in India today. The new device continues the design language of the V40 and V40 Pro and features a 6.67-inch curved OLED display and a dual camera setup on the back with Vivo’s Aura Light portrait system.

The Vivo V40e is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. However, the storage cannot be increased. The device’s screen has a Full HD+ resolution and offers a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the peak brightness of the screen can go up to 4500 nits. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera with eye tracking.

On the back of the device, there is a 50 MP (IMX882 sensor) main camera with OIS support and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens. On the software side, the device runs on the Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 operating system, and Vivo promises 3 years of Android version updates and 4 years of security patch support. Among the elements that complete the technical specifications is a 5500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

How much should I pay for the Vivo V40e?

The V40e comes in Mint Green and Royal Bronze color options. In India, the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 28,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option is priced at Rs 30,999.

Vivo V40e is now available for pre-order on Vivo’s online store and partner retailers. Official sales of the device are scheduled to begin on October 2.
