Unique features in corner cleaning with Ecovacs, Deebot X8 Pro Omni

Ecovacs, which has made a name for itself with remarkable innovations in home cleaning technology, appeared before users with the Deebot X8 Pro Omni model at CES 2025. This robot vacuum cleaner stands out with its cylinder mop design used instead of standard circular mop pads. This model, which was developed to effectively clean hard-to-reach corners and edges, also makes a difference with the self-cleaning feature of the mop. Thus, it maintains a high level of cleanliness without the need for constant maintenance by users.

Deebot X8 Pro Omni was first introduced at the IFA fair last year. The device’s mop can rotate 200 times per minute, applying a strong pressure of 4,000 Pa. In addition, thanks to its 16 water spray tips, the mop is constantly cleaned during use. Dirty water is directed to a separate waste water tank, preventing the formation of marks or stains on the floor. All these features enable the device to provide effective cleaning performance even on difficult surfaces.

New generation sensor and unique vacuum power in Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni

Ecovacs has highlighted the Deebot X8 Pro Omni not only with its mopping features but also its vacuuming ability. The device has an impressive suction power of 18,000 Pa. Additionally, its brush has a special anti-tangle technology that prevents materials such as hair or rope from getting tangled. As for navigation, the robot is equipped with the new “TrueEdge” 3D sensor. This sensor optimizes the cleaning route by recognizing different surfaces and edges. In addition, the device’s artificial intelligence-supported system detects objects such as shoes and cables, allowing it to avoid obstacles during cleaning.

Another remarkable feature of the robot is that it can be controlled with voice commands. However, some security vulnerabilities previously experienced in Ecovacs products raise questions on this issue. Last year, hackers infiltrated the company’s systems, seized Deebot X2 models and committed inappropriate actions. On the other hand, some reports state that Ecovacs collects photos, videos, and audio recordings with users’ consent. All these situations reveal the need to be careful about security and privacy issues.

Ecovacs is not limited to just Deebot X8 Pro Omni in its new series. The company also introduced the Deebot T50 series to users. T50 Max Pro, one of the most striking models in this series, offers a strong cleaning performance with 15,000 Pa suction power. Additionally, with a height of only 81 mm, the T50 Pro Omni stands out as the thinnest design Ecovacs has developed to date. This feature allows the device to easily reach narrow spaces such as under furniture.

The price of Deebot X8 Pro Omni is set at $ 1,399.99 and the model is expected to be available in mid-February. Information about the prices and release dates of the Deebot T50 series will be announced in the coming days. Ecovacs aims to make users’ cleaning habits even easier with these new models. Regardless, it is of great importance for consumers to consider the security features of devices when making their choice.
