Türkiye move from Strava: The application is now completely in Turkish

Global sports platform Strava announced an update that makes the user experience more accessible by expanding language options. While the platform introduced support for 10 new languages, including Turkish, it increased the total number of supported languages ​​to 24. Thanks to this development, more than 195 million users can now access workout tracking and social interaction tools in their native languages. In addition, the company aims to make the user experience in different geographies more inclusive by focusing on localization investments. Despite this, it seems that additional steps are on the agenda to increase user loyalty in the sports applications market where competition is intense.

According to the information shared by Strava, the new languages ​​added to the platform include Czech, Danish, Malay, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai and Vietnamese, in addition to Turkish. This expansion aims to strengthen not only the technical reach of the platform but also its community engagement. In addition, users’ ability to understand and share content within the application more easily is among the factors that directly affect social interaction. Although Strava has been providing services on a global scale for a long time, increasing language diversity is considered a critical threshold in terms of user experience.

Strava expands user experience with Turkish language support

Strava Marketing Director Louisa Wee states that the new language options further strengthen the international structure of the platform. According to Wee, users will now be able to use not only the basic features but the entire experience offered by the platform in their native language. In addition, the company plans to implement regional partnerships, localized content libraries and country-based challenge programs in the future. On the other hand, this approach reveals Strava’s goal of creating deeper user interaction in different markets.

The new language support offers several benefits for both free and subscription-based users. While free users can follow more than 50 types of activities, they can also use social features such as interacting with their friends in Turkish. In addition, users benefiting from the subscription service; They can access advanced features such as personalized training recommendations, route planning tools and detailed performance analysis in their own language. However, the effectiveness of these features continues to be directly linked to how actively users use the platform.

In addition, it is known that Strava has focused on artificial intelligence-supported analyzes and community-oriented features in recent years.
