Turkcell launched its new commercial series with Ata Demirer

Turkcell collaborated with the popular artist Ata Demirer in its new advertising campaign. The campaign meets the audience under the name “A Turkcell Production”, inspired by the magical world of movies. While the first commercial will be broadcast on both television and digital platforms on December 18, stories will be told through different cinema genres in the following parts of the campaign. While Turkcell’s 30-year brand heritage is being reinterpreted with this project, it is aimed to provide the audience with an entertaining and memorable experience.

The basis of the advertising series is the strong emphasis on Turkcell’s technological infrastructure and the services it offers. Turkcell Deputy General Manager Responsible for Marketing and Digital Services Murat Akgüç stated in his statement about the campaign that, as Turkey’s Turkcell, they touched the lives of millions of people. He stated that the commercial series, in which Ata Demirer will play different roles in each film, strongly reflects Turkcell’s vision. This approach aims to both meet the expectations of users and explain their leadership in the technology world in an entertaining language.

The theme of commercials with Ata Demirer: A Turkcell Production

While the theme of the new advertising platform is determined as “A Turkcell Production”, attention is drawn with stories inspired by different cinema genres. While the theme of “speed” is discussed in the first movie, the consistent speed of Turkcell’s internet infrastructure is emphasized. It is stated that various genres such as science fiction, adventure, Yeşilçam and superhero productions will be carried into the future films. This diversity aims to both keep the audience’s interest alive and explain the wide range of services Turkcell offers.

While the first commercial was shot under the title “King of Speed”, the shooting process draws attention as the product of a very comprehensive work. While a production team of 160 people worked for the film, approximately 200 extras and detailed costume work were done. While the commercial is broadcast in a shortened version for television, the long-format version meets the audience via Turkcell’s YouTube channel and social media platforms. Thus, the campaign aims to create strong interaction in digital channels.

Turkcell’s advertising campaign is being implemented within the scope of its 30th anniversary celebrations as a part of its brand strategy. The company has increased its brand awareness and delivered the quality of its services to large audiences with the advertising campaigns it has carried out so far. Throughout 2025, Turkcell aims to strengthen its bond with its users by continuing its communication activities strongly.

Murat Akgüç emphasized that technological infrastructure plays a major role in the services Turkcell offers to its users and touched upon the importance of network speed. He stated that they are constantly increasing their infrastructure investments to provide an uninterrupted experience, especially in video and music content that requires high data consumption. In this context, it is stated that possible outages are detected and prevented in advance, thanks to Turkcell’s artificial intelligence-supported infrastructure management. It is emphasized that Turkcell’s consistent speed performance is ahead of other operators in tests conducted by independent organizations.

This advertising series, launched by Turkcell with Ata Demirer, attracts attention with its strong production quality and thematic narrative. The fact that a different cinema genre is handled in each film shows that the advertising campaign is designed not only as a promotional effort but also as a storytelling effort. This keeps the audience’s interest in the campaign alive and enables Turkcell to effectively deliver its services to larger audiences.
